About Jennifer Clevenger, MA, LPC

Jennifer ClevengerFeeling alone with life’s challenges is overwhelming.

Feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or weighed down by life’s challenges can leave you feeling isolated and alone.

Old wounds surface, unexpected changes appear, and there is a constant pressure to hold it all together.

After a while it all takes it toll on you. It’s just exhausting to be all you feel you are expected to be.

You long for peace, confidence and balance in your life.

Trauma from the past still haunts your thoughts and impacts your reactions.

You feel anxious about today and what the future has in store for you. And when you think about what has been lost, you feel down, lower than you ever wanted to feel.

You aren’t even sure you trust yourself to make decisions or move forward.

Adjusting to new things adds to the chaos you feel inside.

Adjusting to new things adds to the chaos you feel inside.

Sure, there have been some transitions. Sometimes they come in the form of a lost or new relationship, a new baby, change in job, or relocation.

You wonder why adjusting to change has become so difficult to manage.

The feeling of being alone and broken has stolen hope.

You don’t have to feel alone anymore.

I am here to help. I’ll give you the space to slow down, breathe, and begin understanding what’s happened beneath the surface.

Together, we’ll uncover the patterns and strengthen your coping tools.

You will begin to reconnect with yourself and your environment increasing your sense of stability and self-trust.

Imagine a partnership built on safety, trust, and genuine understanding.

In a calm, non-judgmental space, you will be able to be your full self — without expectations.

With a collaborative, compassionate, and practical approach I integrate evidence-based approaches to tailor sessions based on your unique needs, goals, and pace.

The methods I integrate to help you best include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Trauma-informed care. I also draw from person-centered and strength-based approaches.

All of this simply means that I have the knowledge and skills that you will benefit from. I have the compassion and understanding you will relate to and set you at ease. And I’ll always treat you like an individual who I believe deserves the best help possible to feel better, find hope, and experience the life you desire.

I’m not here to fix you. You aren’t broken!

I am here to help you reconnect with the strong, capable person you already are.

Let’s get started today working toward helping you:

  • Ease anxiety and quiet the racing mind
  • Heal from past trauma and painful experiences
  • Navigate life changes with greater resilience
  • Set healthy, compassionate boundaries
  • Strengthen your sense of identity and self-worth.

About Me

Jennifer Clevenger Vacation

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master’s Degree in Counseling. I’ve dedicated my career to helping people heal, grow, and rediscover what’s meaningful in their lives.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent years working with individuals facing complex physical and emotional challenges. I quickly realized that true healing happens when people feel safe enough to be fully seen and supported. This work isn’t just my profession — it’s my assignment in this life.

Outside the office, I find balance and joy through simple things: spending time with my husband, exploring nature, and traveling. These experiences remind me daily of the same truth I share with my clients – healing isn’t a destination; it’s a journey of rediscovering your strength, one step at a time.
